Get Involved....

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”
    ..........................................MARGARET MEAD

As a program of Interval House of Hamilton, the Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre provides support services for all women in the Flamborough community including information and community referrals, individual counselling, legal advocacy and support, women’s groups, transitional housing support for abuse, employment counselling, peer counselling and teen peer support groups.

Women living in rural areas of Hamilton (Flamborough, Dundas, Ancaster, Glanbrook) have less access to immediate supports (police, transportation, shelter etc.). It takes police at least 45 minutes to respond to a domestic 911 call; thus puts them at greater risk of harm when living in domestic violence homes. We need your help to create more services out in our rural areas.
